Court Victory for Iranian Family...

Many of our members have been praying for the plight of the Salman's, and Iranian family who recently converted to Christianity in one of our churches in the Midwest. This past week a federal court reversed the immigration orders in their case and granted them permanent asylum. This is a happy ending to their protracted legal struggle to obtain asylum in the United States, because they would face severe presecution if they returned to their home country (the family had been living here for a few years as legal residents under a visa program). We thank the Lord for answering our prayers, and for the blessing this family has brought to our body of churches....

International Guests at Recent Seminar...

On the weekend of February 4-8, we had the pleasure of hosting many pastors from around the world at a seminar at our Mahanaim conference center, located in the mountainous tropical forest inland from Vitoria, Espirito Santo. We were honored to have pastors fellowshipping with us from Angola, Armenia, Belarus, Israel, India, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Russia, and Ukraine. There were also brethren there from Uzbekistan, as well as Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Ireland, and of course Canada and the U.S.

The unity felt among these believers from different churches and nations was truly amazing; everyone seemed to receive a blessing from the Lord. We have asked our churches in the States to remember these brethren - especially the pastors and leaders of groups of churches - in their prayers regularly.
