February - "... and I will make you fishers of men."
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19(NIV)
The Lord has asked his servants to turn their attention this month to praying for our co-workers and work supervisors. For many of us, work is our biggest commitment in terms of time. Every day, we spend hours talking with our work colleagues. The expectation is that God will give us opportunities to share our faith with those we work with. This isn't to say that we try to hijack every conversation around the water cooler in the name of Jesus. As with past months of our "prayer calendar", we spend the first 3 weeks quietly praying and fasting. As the church dedicates itself to the Lord in prayer, worship and obedience to God's revelation, he produces the right testimony in the lives of the church members. Opportunities to share with our co-workers will flow naturally out of our devotion to the Lord. Read full post...
